Most churches don’t give enough time and energy to thinking about and dealing with their leadership councils, whether that be a finance council, parish council, or a board of directors. For most of us, it is not in our culture of ministry.
But it should be part of our culture.
We’re missing out on the sharing of great gifts by those in our community. Leadership councils can help a church grow and become more relevant while meeting the needs of those they serve. So what do you do with a parish council?
Although this video is talking about non-profit boards of director, I think this can easily apply to church leadership councils.
